Welcome to the FAQS section of the London Youth League. Whether you’re a parent, player, coach, or volunteer, we’ve answered some of the most common questions to help you get involved and stay informed.

Where do matches take place?

ALL games will take place at your designated venue. E.g Westway Sports Centre – 1 Crowthorne Rd, London W10 6RP or The Brunswick Club For Young People – 79 St Thomas way, London, SW6 7SW or Club Des Sports – E Acton Ln W3 7HB

What age groups do we facilitate for?

From U6 up to U12’s

Whats the format for the league?

8 Teams in the group. Everyone plays each other once. All teams progress to knockouts stage with 1st Vs 8th, 2nd Vs 7th, 3rd Vs 6th and 4th Vs 5th.

How long are the games ?

U6 – U9 2x 20 minute half’s
U10-U12 2x 25 minute half’s

How many players per side ?

U6-U8 is 6 a side
U9-U10 is 7 a side
U11-U12 is 9 a side
